The short version: we only collect what we need to reply to your enquiry or send you Colorito, we never sell it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

1. Who we are

The Disegno Collective Hub (“Disegno Collective”, “we”) is a brand design studio registered in South Africa, serving clients in South Africa, the United Kingdom, the European Union and the United States. We are the responsible party (POPIA) and data controller (UK GDPR / EU GDPR) for the personal information described here. Contact: hello@disegnocollective.com.

2. What we collect and why

We collect personal information in two situations only:

• Enquiries. Name, email address, business name, industry and a description of your needs, submitted through the Contact form. Used solely to respond to your enquiry. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in answering you (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)); POPIA s11(1)(f).
• Colorito mailer. Name and email address, submitted through the Colorito sign-up. Used solely to send our quarterly magazine and occasional related updates. Lawful basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a); POPIA s11(1)(a); PECR reg. 22; CAN-SPAM). Every mailer contains a one-click unsubscribe.

We do not collect payment data, sensitive or special-category information, or information from children under 18. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies; only strictly necessary cookies required to serve the site.

3. Sharing and international transfers

We do not sell, rent or share your personal information for marketing. We use trusted processors (website hosting, email delivery) under written agreements. Where information leaves the EU, UK or South Africa it is protected by Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or an equivalent safeguard permitted under POPIA s72.

4. Retention

Enquiry details are kept for 24 months after our last contact, or longer only where a project engagement follows. Colorito subscriber details are kept until you unsubscribe, then removed within 30 days.

5. Your rights

Wherever you live you may ask us to access, correct, delete or export your information, object to or restrict its processing, and withdraw consent at any time. California residents additionally have the right to know, delete, correct and opt out of “sale” or “sharing” (we do neither) under the CCPA/CPRA, without discrimination. Email hello@disegnocollective.com; we respond within 30 days. You may also complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa), the ICO (UK), your local EU supervisory authority, or your state Attorney General (US).

6. Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with access limited to the team members who need it. No method of transmission is entirely risk-free; we will notify you and the relevant regulator of any breach as the law requires.

7. Terms of use

All content on this site, including the Disegno Collective and Colorito names, logos, imagery and copy, is owned by or licensed to The Disegno Collective Hub and may not be reproduced without written permission. Client work is shown with permission and remains the property of the respective brands. The site is provided “as is”; we are not liable for indirect losses arising from its use. Links to third-party sites (including Instagram and the Colorito reader) are governed by those sites’ own terms. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, without affecting the statutory consumer rights you hold in your own country.

8. Changes

We will post any changes on this page and update the date above. Material changes to how we use Colorito subscriber data will be emailed to subscribers first.
